For some environments, such as the industrial sector, a truly thorough risks analysis must be performed in order to detect the possible consequences of a disaster on the community and the company\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<section id=\"\" class=\"two-columns-block theme-block alignfull\">\n\n  <div class=\"content-block\">\n    <div class=\"two-columns-block__row\">\n\n\n                  \n                                                   \n                        <div class=\"two-columns-block__col shadow bullet\">\n                          <div class=\"two-columns-block__col-inner\">\n\n\n                            <h2>The risk analysis process<\/h2>\n<p>The risk analysis process that we use consists of the 7 following steps :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Identification of threats and hazard<\/li>\n<li>Estimating the probability of occurrence<\/li>\n<li>Identification of consequences<\/li>\n<li>Establishing the risk level<\/li>\n<li>Identification of preventive measures<\/li>\n<li>Identification of mitigation measures<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of a risk management plan<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n                                                      \n\n                          <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block__col-inner -->\n                        <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block__col -->\n\n                    \n                                                   \n                        <div class=\"two-columns-block__col shadow bullet\">\n                          <div class=\"two-columns-block__col-inner\">\n\n\n                            <h2>Types of risk analysis<\/h2>\n<p>Depending on the nature of your organization&#8217;s activities, we will use two types of risk analysis, namely qualitative or quantitative.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Qualitative risk analysis favors a more perceptual approach and considers the organization&#8217;s values, experience, environment, and human resources.<\/li>\n<li>Quantitative analysis is an empirical method using statistical data, system failure probabilities and consequence probabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n                                                      \n\n                          <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block__col-inner -->\n                        <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block__col -->\n\n                    \n              \n            \n\n\n\n \n    <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block__row -->\n  <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block -->\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section id=\"\" class=\"two-columns-block theme-block alignfull\">\n\n  <div class=\"content-block\">\n    <div class=\"two-columns-block__row\">\n\n\n                  \n                                                   \n                        <div class=\"two-columns-block__col shadow bullet\">\n                          <div class=\"two-columns-block__col-inner\">\n\n\n                            <h2>Consequence study<\/h2>\n<p>When it is necessary to know the consequences of the release of a hazardous material such as ammonia or chlorine for example, or to know the effects of a propane tank explosion, we can produce a consequence study.<\/p>\n<p>The study produced by a specialized engineer makes it possible to know the level of toxicity emitted during the release of a toxic produce or the thermal effects of the explosion of a flammable product.<\/p>\n<p>Carried out with a recognized specialized software, the consequence study is an excellent tool which allows to quickly know what the impacts on the environment would be in case of an accident.<\/p>\n<p>The study can be applied to fixed installations such as stationary tanks, or to any type of transporter, whether a tank truck or a tank car.<\/p>\n<p>The consequence study, a must for a better knowledge of the consequences of your risks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n                                                      \n\n                          <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block__col-inner -->\n                        <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block__col -->\n\n                    \n              \n            \n\n\n\n \n    <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block__row -->\n  <\/div><!-- END two-columns-block -->\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It constitutes an important aspect when implanting an integrated risk management program.
